The location was convenient, with many nearby restaurants and

the room was spacious, making it a decent choice. However, there were issues like peeling drywall and poor maintenance that were hard to overlook. Overall, I believe this place has potential but needs serious upgrades.

The dim lighting in the rooms could use an upgrade!!! On too many occasions, I felt uneasy due to the loud noise from the street and other guests!!! Better air conditioning is definitely needed!!!

the air conditioning didn’t work well. but the swimming pool was refreshing and the dirty towels were quickly replaced! ! parking was convenient and I could see my truck from the room. friendly staff too.

Solo travelers beware

The treatment by the staff was unacceptable,, like I was being watched the whole time. Even while I was checking in, the receptionist had this attitude that made me feel like I was in a prison, not a hotel.

It wasn’t cheap,, but still acceptable considering the experience.

The beds were comfy and the shower worked like a charm. Super close to some great eateries and parking was easy-peasy. The outdoor pool was a nice touch too.

During my stay at Ocean Gateway Inn, I found the Room with Two Double Beds to be quite spacious and immaculate for my family. While the absence of a coffee maker was slightly inconvenient, the nearby restaurant made dining easy. A pleasant experience despite minor issues.

We enjoyed lovely family moments by the nearby hiking trails, perfect for my toddler to explore. The staff was friendly and made sure we felt welcome during our stay. The proximity to a cute Mexican restaurant next door was a fantastic bonus!

It was just a proper fit for a short stint in Santa Paula with good price value. The staff was friendly and responsive to our needs during check-in, which made the stay better. Avoid asking for an elevator. it's a two-floor place without one.

The Room with Two Double Beds was pretty decent for a family stay. It was very clean, which I appreciated for my kids. But the lighting felt a bit dim, and I missed having a coffee maker. i enjoyed my stay at ocean gateway inn. the location was great, especially with an excellent mexican restaurant right next door. the price was decent, and i appreciated access to the year-round outdoor pool.

Accessing the second floor was challenging without an elevator, and the weak WiFi connection was frustrating for everyone in our group.

Free parking and friendly staff, but Wi-Fi was unusable on the second floor.

Easy to reach. I enjoyed a spacious Queen Room. Nearby restaurants provided good dining options. The recent remodeling improved the overall atmosphere. I stayed for 1 night as a solo traveler. 🌟
